Veterinarian

Dr. Astrid Kramer earned her bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Cal Poly Pomona before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences. She has a strong passion for continued learning and has completed VETgirl Certificate Programs in both Ophthalmology and Anesthesia & Analgesia.
Dr. Kramer’s professional interests include dentistry, ophthalmology, toxicology, preventive care, internal medicine, and feline medicine. She is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association (INVMA). She is also fluent in Spanish, allowing her to better serve a diverse client base.
Outside of work, Dr. Kramer enjoys scrapbooking, hiking, and traveling. She is married and has three children—two sons and a daughter—along with a full house of pets, including two cats, Muffin and Mousser, and one dog, Pickles.
